Here is our ordering and cancellation policy, along with some helpful information.
We Can Take Your Orders Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To place your order, please call (775) 323-3115, ext. 105 or ext. 108. If we are assisting customers or your call is after hours, we will return your call as soon as possible. You can always call our front of the house team at (775) 323-3115, ext. 0 and they, too, will be happy to take your order. To confirm your order, you need to either speak with one of our team members or have a response to your email/fax order. Please check your specific menu online for order minimums. We will always try to be creative to accommodate your requests.
We recommend placing your order for food at least 48 hours in advance to secure your desired delivery time and menu selection. Keep in mind that entire days can get fully booked, especially during the holidays, and we sometimes cannot accept any more orders. Please call as early as you can to get on the calendar. Last minute order? Don’t be afraid to call. We will do our best to create a menu to suit your needs and get it to you on time.

We base our delivery charges on your event location and the time it will take to set up. Deliveries after normal business hours (for example, 5:30pm deliveries, etc.) will include an automatic 10% gratuity.
Cancellations And Changes
All cancellations must me made with live person to confirm cancellation of any order.
- Lunch orders are considered confirmed by noon 1 business day before your event.
- Hot Entree orders are considered confirmed by noon 2 business days before your event.
- Hors d’oeuvres orders are considered confirmed by noon 3 business days before your event.
If an order is cancelled within your cancellation window, you may be charged 50% of the total order. Should your order be cancelled within 24 hours of your delivery or pick up, you will be charged 100% of total order. If you decide not to accept your order, the food will be donated to one of the local food charities.
On the day of your event, your guest count cannot be reduced. All food prepared will be delivered. However, should your guest count increase, we will do our best to accommodate that increase. Please note that all changes must be made with a live person, messages left after hours may not be received before your food has been prepared.
When ordering, please note the event time and the time you intend to serve your guests. We will work with you to determine the delivery time based on Washoe County Health Department food safety standards.
Sunday orders have a $1,500 minimum order for food and beverage, and automatic 20% gratuity. This minimum does not include staffing, delivery, tax, or other charges.
A credit card is required to confirm your event. The Cheese Board accepts American Express, Visa, Master Card or a company/personal check. We take your payment information when the order is placed and process the payment on the day of your order. For large orders, we require a 50% deposit to confirm your event and a signed contract.
